To venture out to Lake Gairdner is one of South Australia's largest salt lakes and home to the annual dry lake races.
This tour is full of opportunities to see a working outback station that has some of South Australia's unique photography locations.
See Lake Gairdner on sunrise and sunset as your surrounds light up in the golden hours, explore with me the station seeing the geological features and wildlife.
Day 1 Leaving Adelaide via the Clare Valley with an overnight stop at the famous Cradock Hotel in the Flinders Ranges.
After arriving at Mt Ive Station and settling in, there is the option of a leisurely sunset shoot close by to the homestead and relaxing with the hospitality at the station.
Day 3 see's us up early for the trip out to Lake Gairdner for sunrise. As the light travels across the vast salt lake the scene always leaves you in awe of the magnificent environment that is South Australia. Returning to Mt Ive via some of special locations on the station, we spend time on post photography edits and even if you wish sneer in a afternoon nap.
Day 4 we pack up and start our return to Adelaide via the coast and arriving late afternoon.
